L 'is the only liqueur' Aurum based brandy and infused with oranges. It is used in desserts (in parrozzo another typical product of the province) and as an ingredient to wet the sponge.
The name of the liqueur comes from the Latin "aurantium", which means orange.
The factory was moved to City Sant 'Angelo. The liquor was in fact in Pescara in a building designed by the 'Architect Giovanni Michelucci and wanted by' Entrepreneur Amedeo Pomilio, where today (formerly Aurum) is being used to stage exhibitions of paintings, photo exhibitions, theatrical performances and for weddings and ceremonies.
Weddings and ceremonies? just so you read that right!
fact is that marriages ceremonies (an initiative started from April 1 and will last until December 26, 2009) are celebrated in the hall "Stills" the name derives from the large machines that at the time of production of 'Aurum were right there.
The cost for use of the room is 300 €. Obviously it comes to civil marriages.
I want to remember that October 10 is celebrated tomorrow Cetteo the Patron Saint of the city of Pescara. In fact, tomorrow there will be a procession and blessing of the statue (new) at 18. History of San Cetteo: The story goes that he was elected Bishop of the Holy Amiterno which was then falsely accused of having betrayed his city at the time of the Lombards in Italy was thrown his body into the river with a millstone Aterno stone tied around his neck .
