LA LEZIONE ROMENA

front of the theater are more people who speak those Romanians who speak Italian, because the Teatro Puccini in Florence is about to play host an international event which sees the National Theatre Bucharest in the staging of Lesson Eugene Ionesco's .

Along with actresses and CADIR Aylin Natalia Calin, Horatiu Mălăele , one of the leaders of the Rumanian theater, director and star of the play, saw in Lesson by Ionesco "a tragic farce denouncing the absurdity of so much thesis uniqueness and exclusivity, the language as an instrument of power, since the relationship between sexuality and deadly dictatorship ".

The scene, rather thin, is deliberately spectral as well as characters from the white faces. The story is as paradoxical as grotesque. A private lesson, a teacher, shy and stuttering, pupil - white dress light and lively open-mindedness typical of young girls - and a huge ass from the housekeeper that moves slowly and with difficulty. Everything seems pretty normal from the teacher's questions and answers more or less safe and sensible student of when, little by little, something starts to change in the relationship between the two, at first imperceptibly, then in an increasingly decisive and final. Teaching becomes an exercise of power that is set in motion through a language that increasingly becomes a pure play on words. And then the action begins to evolve rather conventional in a totally unconventional and increasingly takes a turn abnormal, it becomes bitter reflection the human condition, sull'incomunicabilità and falsehood in the reports. The lesson goes dall'aritmetica philology, whereas in the educational game, the erotic tension swells to bursting in a gruesome and fatal outcome.

The lesson is completely absurd in the intellectual mediocrity of a girl who aspires to a doctorate but can not do subtraction, and the teachings of vague professor. Mechanism between a grotesque and increasingly disturbing action develops in a gradual reversal of the initial attitudes of the two. It is clear that the characters on stage are evolving. Suona il doorbell fact and in comes a new girl, Vestino fresh and clear, the calf socks, lively and exuberant.

The show is performed in Romania and in the run up sovratitoli in Italian. Certainly the public if Romania has more. Ride in style while we often stay a little 'hung between the stage and reading and we have the feeling of losing something.
Interpreters are still very good, especially Horatiu Mălăele, expresses in this piece than his skills as a comedian with strong and vocal mimicry.
